Madison Teachers Inc. is a social justice, democratic, member led organization which advocates for our students and our members in order to advance quality public education for all.
The USO-MTI Collective Bargaining Group represents approximately 600 Substitute and Off Campus Program Teachers in the Madison Metropolitan School District.
2026-27 Substitute Pay Rates:
Daily Rate: $200.58
Long-Term* Rate: $251.58
* When a substitute teacher works 7+ consecutive days in the same assignment at the same school.
